Biography
Rita Dell'Isola 69 of North Tonawanda, Saturday (February 6, 2010) at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Mrs. Dell'Isola was born in Castelli, Teramo on January 14, 1941 to Giulio and Marianina (Mercante) DiFrancesco. Rita came to America on December 31, 1956, settled in North Tonawanda, she enjoyed baking, cooking, and gardening, She was a devoted wife , mother, grandmother, and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Dell'Isola is survived by her husband of 45 years Vince Dell'Isola, mother of Tony (Lisa), Daniel (Paula), Tina (Eric) Dirmyer, sister of Angelo (Rosina), Dora (Mike) Kubiak, and Guido (Ada) DiFrancesco, grandmother of Michael and Marisa Dell'Isola, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St. North Tonawanda, NY, where prayers will be held Thursday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. If desired memorials maybe made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
