Life Legacy
passed away peacefully July 19th 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer after his recent move from North Carolina back to North Tonawanda. He is survived by his beloved wife Vicki (nee Mayes), daughters Angel Mayes of North Carolina and Samantha Wade (Donald) (nee Spitzer) of Mississippi and sons Christopher (Margie) Lagesten, Michael (Dawn) Lagesten, Sean Lagesten, and two beautiful granddaughters Ava and Brooklyn Erica, He is also survived by loving mother Ethel Lagesten and sister Carin Lagesten, loving father Hans (Roz), brother Stephan (Taleen) and sister Rebecca Lagesten, all of Canada.
Eric was a volunteer firefighter with Sweeney Hose Company #7 for 15 years, along side his best friend Rich Reeves. Eric was also a member of the PBA and in the last 9 years served his community in North Carolina as an EMT and police officer for the Port Authority of Wilmington.
Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home 307 Oliver Street North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY at 10:30 AM. The Rev. Dr. Greg Crispell will officiate.
Sweeney Hose Fire Company will hold services in the Funeral Home Wednesday at 7:00 PM
Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery
