Walter Edward "Buddy" Cline Jr.

Walter Edward (‘Buddy’) Cline Jr., 74 of North Tonawanda NY passed away on September 9, 2026, surrounded by family at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, New York. Walter Jr was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the oldest son of Walter Edward Cline Sr. and Rose Marie Smith Cline, formerly of Nash Road North Tonawanda, NY. He attended Kenmore East and Niagara Wheatfield High Schools (Class of 1970). Walter joined the United States Marine Corps and later earned an associates degree in Engineering at Niagara County Community College. Throughout his life he worked in the western NY area with Trimline Inc., Niagara Gutter Inc., and the New York State Power Authority. Walter proudly served his country as a United States Marine and was Medically Retired from the Marine Corps. He remained a proud member of the Disabled Military Veterans Association. Known to his family and friends as “Buddy” he enjoyed Cars, Concerts, Motorcycles, Music, Fishing, spending time with friends & Family and the Buffalo Bills. Survived by his son Walter Edward Cline III; his sisters, Starlit, Roxann; his brothers Perry & Wayne; and many beloved Cline Family cousins, nieces, nephews, Pennsylvania relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Sue. Honor Guard & Gravesite Service An Honor Guard & Graveside service will be held Friday September 18, 2:00 at: Acacia Park Cemetery 4215 Tonawanda Creek Rd, North Tonawanda, NY 14210. Attendees asked to assemble near the cemetery entrance / office. Vehicles will parade together in procession to the gravesite. Celebration of Life Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life from Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at: Town of Niagara Veterans Memorial Community Park, Calvin K.
