Bruce Edwin Colwell Sr., age 65, from North Tonawanda, NY, passed away surrounded with love by family on December 17, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY after a brief illness. Born in 1954, Bruce was the beloved husband to Nancy (Golonka) for 44 years and the father of Bruce Jr. and Kelly Colwell, Kurtis and Shelley Colwell. The son of David and Betty Colwell, he is survived by grandchildren Juliana, Aidan, Tyler, Demery and Lilly. He was the cherished brother of Shirley and Skip Franz, Stanley and Diane Golonka. Bruce was the uncle of Kenny Franz, Jenna Johnson, Danny Golonka, and Beth and Bob Lesinski. Bruce touched the lives of many people with his generosity and friendship. He loved his family and the Buffalo Bills. Bruce will be missed by many. Services on Saturday December 21st 2019 at Wattengel Funeral Home, 4-7pm 533 Meadow Dr, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
