James Robert Littell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James Robert Littell Jim was born in Moundsville, West Virginia and made his way to North Tonawanda, New York. After Jim graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1966, he attended Niagara County Community College. At that time, he met his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Linda (Sivak). Jim had many passions in life. He loved cats, cars and collecting. He enjoyed reading and watching history. He was an avid collector of postal history. For years, Jim volunteered with the Sweeney Hose Volunteer Fire Company #7. Jim was a life-long union member. He spent more than 20 years at ITT Industries Inc. – Aimco Autoparts Division – and served as the chief union steward for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 447. Later in life he was a union steward for 1199 SEIU’s United Healthcare Workers East. Jim was a storyteller at heart. If you gave him your time, he would share his most recent tales of people, rare occurrences and anything strange. Jim is survived by his wife, Linda Littell, his step-father, Nelson Heppner, his brother, Thomas Littell and his closest friend, Paul Zipp. He is also survived by his daughters Jennifer Kennedy (Nathaniel) and Jacquelyn Hadam (Scott). Jim has five loving grandchildren: Nathaniel Kennedy (24), Elliott Kennedy (18), Benjamin Kennedy (12), Adeline Hadam (9) and June Hadam (7). Friends are welcome to join the family in a celebration of life at Joey’s Place Bar & Grill located at 83 Niagara Street, Tonawanda on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.
