James "Jim" Runge

December 14, 1941 - June 14, 2020

James J. Runge "Jim" Entered into rest June 14, 2020 at the age of 78 He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda. Jim was born on December 14, 1941 in North Tonawanda to Wilbert and Alida (Rice) Runge. After Highschool Jim served in the United States Navy. He was member of Rescue Fire Company No. 5 in North Tonawanda. Jim retired from Durez Division of Hooker Chemical, he was an avid golfer and bowler. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Browning) Runge, and his children, Barbara (John) Miller, John (Ida) Runge, Deborah (James) Phillips, Diane Runge, Marie (David) Skowronski and Mary (Robert) Allison. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl (Anne) Runge and Dawn (Carl) Fairman. Survived by 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews. No prior visitation, donations may be made in Jim's name to St. Mark Lutheran Church 1135 Oliver St. North Tonawanda.
