Robert M Keil, 68, of North Tonawanda, passed away Tuesday February 8, 2022 surrounded by family. Robert was born in Buffalo, New York on June 10, 1953 to Richard M. and Channez (nee Hewitt) Keil. He retired from Maplewood Healthcare in 2016 where he was the director of maintenance. Robert was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and grand kids. He loved to golf, listen to classic rock, and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Robert is survived by his wife of 47 years Catherine J. (nee Pohlman), his children Roberta (Eric) Mullins and Alexander; proud grandfather to his 2 granddaughters, Ryleigh and Reagan. He was beloved by his brothers Donald (Nancy), Richard (Laura) & Gary (Luanne) and sisters Linda (Joe) & Gail (Darren) as well as his nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, on February 12, 2022 from 4-7pm. Memorial service will follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s research center in Robert’s honor.
