Sharon Reiter

Sharon A. Reiter, 63, of North Tonawanda, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 5, 1963, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Sharon was the daughter of the late Duane Bull Sr. and Laura Bull. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She shared her life with her beloved husband, James Reiter Sr. Through the years, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Despite facing illness for many years, Sharon always made time for those she loved and remained a constant source of strength, comfort, and support. Sharon enjoyed visiting zoos and farms, tending to her garden, pond, crocheting, scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with her beloved dogs. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and selfless nature. Sharon consistently put the needs of others before her own and was always willing to lend a helping hand, listen without judgment, while providing comfort during life's most difficult moments. Her love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, James Reiter Sr.; her children, James (Brandy) Reiter Jr., Matthew Reiter, Christine (Dustin) Cummings, Katie Reiter, and Adam (Breanna) Reiter; and her cherished grandchildren, Tommy Sattler, Jordan Krug Jr., Zoe Oswald, Harper Reiter, Peyton Reiter, Cora Reiter, Mackenzie Cummings, Blake Cummings, Hunter Cummings, Maverick Cummings, Logan Reiter, Emma Reiter, and Frank Reiter. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Bull, Carol (Todd) Soos, Cindy Bull, and April (Joe) Russell. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Duane Bull Jr.; her sister, Diane Ewing; and her grandson, Joshua Reiter. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate Sharon's life while sharing memories of the love and kindness she brought to all who knew her. Sharon's legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
